God Saved My Life

The #1 thing we can thank God for doing for us here on Earth is save our lives.

 

We have no way of being sinless, no way of making up for the sins we've committed, and so no way of spending eternity with God in Heaven.

 

Jesus, God's Son, died to pay the price for our sins, and by accepting his gift to take him as Lord we can be saved from the otherwise inevitable end.

 

There is no greater gift than this.

I totally agree with you. I gave my life to Jesus 24 years ago. I appreciate every year I have known God and know that I will be spending eternity with him in heaven when I die. I am so glad I met a lovely couple in the set of units I was living at the time. See God had my life planned from the beginning. I was brought up as a catholic and was going to become a nun. the couple downstairs where I lived were playing some music the piano and trumpet were playing. something clicked inside me and I was bold enought to knock on their door and ask what song were they playing. They were playing Jesus Lover Of My Soul. that night I gave my life to Jesus and evidently didnt become a nun Praise God!
