Yesterday when I was on my way to Church, I was thinking about how much I'd put in the offering, and how much money I needed for the rest of the week. And I had already committed that I would put $20 in the plate every Sunday at Church. But when I worked out the financials in my head, I couldn't figure out how I would pay all my bills this week if I put the $20 in the plate.

I double checked my wallet, see if I had any other money, but that money I had was enough to get me a train ticket to Church, and the $20 for the offering (and a few dollars for the Church dinner afterwards).

My brain was telling me, "keep the $20, you need it for the bills." But I knew I had my committment to put $20 in the plate.

When the plate came around at Church, I put the $20 in and put my faith in God, trusting that one way or another everything would come together this week. I went back to my worshipping and gave up my worries, and enjoyed the rest of the night. Later that evening as I'm walking back home I look into my wallet to find a $20 note. It wasn't hidden behind anything, or covered by anything, it was easy to see and find. I hadn't missed it earlier, and I don't know how it physically got there seeing as my wallet was in my back pocket all night. But I know God had something to do with it, and I thank God for looking after me.

This was a revealing experience for me, and has really shown me the impact of having faith in God, and how powerful God is.
